People who leave a cult most
often have lost everything that provides stability and security: money and property, work,
an apartment, friends, faith, hope and a perspective on life, sometimes even the family.
The Odenwald Residence offers former members a temporary home in which they can return to
a normal life with the care and assistance of psychologists and social workers. Recognised
methods of social education and psychology will be used in a transparent and clearly
defined manner. Naturally, providing a neutral environment without bias to any particular
religion or perspective on life is one of the basic premises and top priorities.
