Inge Mamay

In the end of 1994 Inge Mamay had a "dream". A "dream" to set up a new cult-recovery center over here in Germany. It is not the first project of this kind for her. In 1976 she founded and directed "Haus Altenberg" near Cologne for over four years. A place for people who were able to leave their cults. She found fellow-combattants, founded an association, collected gifts, furniture and pots and pans, and, with the assistance of helpers, renovated an old parsonage. In march 1999, the Residence was opened.
